Music Festivals:

I unfortunately have not had the opportunity to attend a music festival recently- however, when I did attend one a couple of years ago it was hard to miss the avant guard, pseudo hippy, somewhat bizarre looks that somehow felt appropriate. Coachella was last week (if you didn't know that you must live in a box), and there were definitely some interesting outfits worn by some fabulous people. I would like to dedicate this blog post to those people who use music festivals as a chance to dress like a hobo, a flower child, or even a gangster, as, let's be honest, when else can you dress like whatever the hell you want? Halloween doesn't count, as one is still expected to dress accordingly whorish.

Here are some of my all time favorite music festival looks:

Grunge has never looked so glamorous- on British Model Lily Donaldson.

Hippy has never looked so haute.

Flower power to the extreme.

Baring some skin and no one is judging- on Texan model Erin Wasson.

Incognito- Poppy Delevigne.

Models- Kasia Struss, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Jacquelyn Jablonski.

Fanny pack stardom.

Hot tamale- Dree Hemingway.

Sweet as a cherry- Harley Viera Newton.

Jean on jean.

Music festivals: the only time it is ever appropriate to wear high-wasted shorts, rain boots, braids, and a million colored wristbands.
