Spring is in the air?

If spring is the season of constant dry-skin inducing weather fluctuation, why does it get such a great rep? Shouldn't it be sunny and seventy everyday? Shouldn't open-toe shoes be the only option- with pastel pedis being imperative? You can only wish. Until this mythical spring rolls around- these are some things I'll be dreaming about.
